These terms govern your use of the website terra-nova.guru and any enquiry or booking you make with Terra Nova Pty Ltd (ABN 72 512 694 012). By using this site you accept these terms.

1. About us

Terra Nova Pty Ltd is a tour operator registered in Australia, operating worldwide adventure and discovery expeditions. Our registered address is 120 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia.

2. Enquiries and bookings

Information on this site, including routes, durations and grading, is provided for general guidance and does not constitute an offer. A booking is only confirmed once we have issued written confirmation and received any deposit due. Detailed booking conditions, prices and inclusions are provided with each trip proposal.

3. Fitness and suitability

Our expeditions take place in remote and demanding environments. Each trip carries a fitness grade from 1 to 5. You are responsible for ensuring you meet the stated requirements and for disclosing any medical condition that may affect your participation or safety.

4. Travel insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance, including cover for medical treatment, evacuation and trip cancellation, is a condition of joining any Terra Nova expedition. You must hold valid cover for the full duration of your trip.

5. Changes and cancellations

Wild environments are unpredictable. We may adjust or cancel a route for reasons of safety, weather or conditions beyond our control, and will always act to protect participants first. Cancellation and refund terms applicable to your booking are set out in your trip confirmation.

6. Intellectual property

All text, photographs and design on this website are owned by or licensed to Terra Nova Pty Ltd and may not be reproduced without permission.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other rights that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control. Adventure travel carries inherent risks that you accept by participating.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have jurisdiction over any dispute.
